(1) The term of office of the members of the arbitration board shall be four years.

The term of office of members of the arbitration board newly appointed during a term of office shall end upon the expiry of that term.
Die Amtsdauer der während einer Amtsperiode neu bestellten Mitglieder der Schiedsstelle endet mit dem Ablauf dieser Amtsperiode.
(2) By way of derogation from subsection (1), the term of office of the members of the arbitration board nominated by the health insurance funds and the manufacturers of digital health applications under section 134 subsection (3) sentence 2 of Book V of the Social Code (Fünftes Buch Sozialgesetzbuch) shall end when the arbitration award takes effect.
(2) Abweichend von Absatz 1 endet die Amtsdauer der nach § 134 Absatz 3 Satz 2 des Fünften Buches Sozialgesetzbuch von den Krankenkassen und den Herstellern digitaler Gesundheitsanwendungen benannten Mitglieder der Schiedsstelle mit Wirksamwerden des Schiedsspruchs.
