(1) Once transmitted to the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM), the notification under section 139e subsection (6) sentence 1 of Book V of the Social Code (Fünftes Buch Sozialgesetzbuch) or the application for deletion of a digital health application from the directory of digital health applications under section 139e subsection (6) sentence 7 of Book V of the Social Code may be amended or supplemented only at that Institute's request under subsection (2).
(2) If, in the course of the assessment by the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices, it becomes apparent that the information in the notification is insufficient to decide on the need to adapt the directory of digital health applications or on the deletion of the application from the directory of digital health applications, the Institute may request the manufacturer to supplement the information within a period of up to three months.
