(1) Digital health applications shall be designed in such a way that the data processed by the digital health application can, with the consent of the insured person, be transmitted to the insured person's electronic patient record under section 341 of Book V of the Social Code (Sozialgesetzbuch).

For this purpose, the digital health application shall have the interface for data exchange specified by the Society for Telematics (gematik) under section 354 subsection (2) item 6 of Book V of the Social Code.

(2) Digital health applications shall enable the export of data to the electronic patient record in a human-readable format and in accordance with a specification for the semantic and syntactic interoperability of data in the electronic patient record under section 355 subsection (2a) of Book V of the Social Code.

(3) The manufacturers of digital health applications shall implement updates of the specifications under section 355 subsection (2a) of Book V of the Social Code within six months of their publication.
(3) Die Hersteller digitaler Gesundheitsanwendungen setzen die Fortschreibungen der Festlegungen nach § 355 Absatz 2a des Fünften Buches Sozialgesetzbuch innerhalb von sechs Monaten nach deren Veröffentlichung um.
