(1) The Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety (BVL) shall publish an official collection of methods for the sampling and analysis of the products referred to in section 2(1), with the exception of feed.
(1) Das Bundesamt für Verbraucherschutz und Lebensmittelsicherheit veröffentlicht eine amtliche Sammlung von Verfahren zur Probenahme und Untersuchung von den in § 2 Absatz 1 genannten Erzeugnissen mit Ausnahme von Futtermitteln.
The methods shall be laid down with the participation of experts from the fields of official control, science and the industries concerned.
Die Verfahren werden unter Mitwirkung von Sachkennern aus den Bereichen der Überwachung, der Wissenschaft und der beteiligten Wirtschaft festgelegt.
The collection shall be kept continuously up to date.
Die Sammlung ist laufend auf dem neuesten Stand zu halten.
(2) The Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety shall publish an official collection of sampling procedures and of methods of analysis for the examination of feed.

Before their publication, a group of representatives of science, feeding advisory services, feed analysis, official feed control, agriculture and the other industries concerned, to be selected in each case, shall be heard.
Vor deren Veröffentlichung soll ein jeweils auszuwählender Kreis von Vertretern der Wissenschaft, der Fütterungsberatung, der Futtermitteluntersuchung, der Futtermittelüberwachung, der Landwirtschaft und der sonst beteiligten Wirtschaft angehört werden.
(3) Approvals, registrations, authorisations and notifications shall be published by the Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety in the Federal Gazette (Bundesanzeiger) where this is provided for by this Act or by a statutory ordinance issued on the basis of this Act.
(3) Zulassungen, Registrierungen, Genehmigungen und Anzeigen werden vom Bundesamt für Verbraucherschutz und Lebensmittelsicherheit im Bundesanzeiger bekannt gemacht, soweit dies durch dieses Gesetz oder eine aufgrund dieses Gesetzes erlassene Rechtsverordnung bestimmt ist.
