In one paragraph

German market access runs on fixed statutory clocks. This calculator applies them to your date: AMNOG (dossier at launch, assessment at month 3, decision at about month 6, negotiated price from month 7), DiGA (BfArM decision within 3 months, negotiated price from month 13, trial phase up to 24 months) and NUB (31 October deadline, InEK status by 31 January). Dates are planning estimates; procedural extensions and holidays can move them.

Common questions

Timelines, answered

When does the AMNOG price apply?

The price negotiated with the GKV-Spitzenverband applies from month 7 after launch, settled retroactively. For a new indication, from month 7 after its approval.

When does a DiGA’s negotiated price apply?

After the first 12 months of listing, i.e. from month 13. If no agreement is reached within 9 months of listing, the arbitration board sets the price.

What is the NUB deadline?

Hospitals must file NUB requests with InEK by 31 October for the following year; InEK publishes the status by 31 January.

How accurate are the dates?

They apply the statutory periods to your date. Extensions, incomplete files, holidays and procedural steps can shift real dates, so treat them as planning estimates.
